Tiverton High School is proud to present The Sound of Music. This inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Trapp, who serves as a governess to the seven children of Captain Von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the troubled household, just as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria. The family face moral turmoil and adventures around every corner.
This award-winning musical, the final collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein, features such timeless classics as ‘Climb Every Mountain’, ‘My Favorite Things’, ‘Do Re Mi’, ‘Sixteen going on Seventeen’ and the title song ‘The Sound of Music’ is bound to sell out fast.
