About us

Our aim in coming together as TCAT is to raise awareness of the wealth of arts and theatrical events in our area.

Many of our community who are involved in the arts are in need of an additional performance venue.

To this end we are very fortunate to have the support of Tiverton High School in allowing us to develop their auditorium into a modern, fully functioning community theatre. The 300 seat venue already boasts many requirements of a great theatre – modern raked seating together with a well equipped, professional, lighting rig and sound system.

The Tiverton Community Arts Theatre group (TCAT) are busy raising funds to further enhance the facilities. These improvements will enable us to accommodate larger productions to add to our current exciting line-up of events.

Looking to the future TCAT has ambitions to provide a purpose-built theatre and arts centre for the people of Tiverton and surrounds. In the meantime we are promoting the cultural life of our community wherever it happens. Why not join Friends of TCAT and enjoy the benefits of being a part of our community theatre.
