Enjoy an outstanding evening of Jazz with some of the country’s top Jazz musicians who meet together as ‘The Sound of Blue Note’. Focusing on the iconic period of the 1950’s and 60’s, the band plays tunes by legends Hank Mobley, Freddie Hubbard, Art Blakey, Horace Silver and more.
The Sound of BlueNote is five of the most prominent musicians in the South of England paying tribute to that legendary jazz label – BlueNote Records. All the material is taken directly from the original recordings and is performed with the same swinging intensity that defines the BlueNote sound.
