The Halberton Community Association is proud to present an internationally famous group, Chakarera, from Argentina to open the Halberton May Festival on Friday 13 May 2016.
The event is being organised in collaboration with the Tiverton Community Arts Theatre (TCAT) to take place at 8.00pm. The Theatre will be set out with cabaret style seating with full bar facilities.
The group’s exciting music blends traditional folk music with jazz and Latin-rock. Songs will be in English and Spanish. The group has extended its tour of Spain to take part in the Halberton Festival!
Opening the programme will be Andy Hague’s acclaimed close harmony group Sweet Harmoni from East Devon performing popular songs by artists such as Abba, The Beatles, Carpenters and Gershwin.
Tickets are £12.50 and £7.50 for concessions.
